Vanguard University

Vanguard University (VU) is a private, coeducational, comprehensive university of liberal arts and professional studies that believes its Pentecostal and charismatic Christian community provides a supportive and challenging environment in which to pursue a quality education. Vanguard University Theatre Arts produces six mainstage shows each year including a musical revue and a large-scale musical. Each semester, the Theatre also produces a "Showcase Week" for senior projects and student director projects. The mainstage plays are directed by resident faculty and professional guest artists.

      The musical Guys and Dolls that the students at Vanguard put on was incredible! Every actor played their characters wholeheartedly! I have seen other plays, but this one was by far the best! I have actually gathered up a few of my friends and we will be going back to Lyceum Theater to see the play again! I am so excited! I loved it and love how the students portray each character! Bravo!
