SparkOC.com is the leading online resource for Arts and Cultural information for Orange County. It offers the largest database of area Arts and Cultural events, including events unique to Orange County, as well as additional listings of classes and workshops, jobs, auditions, organizations, venues, and individual artists. Powered by Silicon Valley's highly successful Artsopolis Marketing Partnership with content management provided by Seattle's BeDynamic.com, SparkOC features weekly half price ticket offers and information services to residents and visitors alike for arts and cultural activities in Orange County.

Arts Orange County ignites SparkOC.com

SparkOC.com is a program of Arts Orange County made possible through the major support of the Orange County Community Foundation. The 2006 OC Cultural indicators Report revealed that you'd love to go to more arts and cultural events, if you could find the information easily. So this is it....your way to spark your creativity. We hope to make it easy for you to get out and see a show, visit an exhibit, take your family or friends to a festival... basically, just get out there and discover all the amazing things happening throughout our community! And if you're a visitor, we hope you'll find plenty of reasons to stay an extra day or two and see why Orange County is such a great place to live.

About Arts Orange County

Arts Orange County (Arts OC) builds appreciation, participation and support for arts and arts education throughout Orange County. Established in 1995 as the nonprofit, countywide arts council of Orange County, CA, the council’s dedicated staff and Board of Directors support a vision to establish the county as one of the top ten creative communities in the nation. To that end, Arts Orange County serves as a resource and advocate for the arts community, as a catalyst for leadership on arts issues, and as a sponsor of programs and services which enhance public awareness of arts activities and promote the development of the arts and arts education. Arts Orange County has been recognized by the California Arts Council as a model agency, based on the quality of its work, and has served as the official arts agency of the County of Orange since 1995.

About Orange County Community Foundation

Founded in 1989, the mission of the Orange County Community Foundation is to encourage, support and facilitate philanthropy in Orange County. OCCF works with donors, strengthens the capacity of local nonprofit organizations, and incubates solutions that address our community’s unmet needs. Over the past 19 years, OCCF has granted more than $123 million to charitable organizations meeting community needs both here and abroad. Although still a relatively young organization, OCCF ranks within the top 15 percent of the more than 750 community foundations across the nation for total assets, and within the top 10 percent for grants made and contributions received. OCCF and many of its generous donors enthusiastically support local arts and culture organizations and SparkOC's mission to make arts and cultural experiences more accessible to the entire community.
