“Lay it Down and Leave It Alone” 
Artist Workshop with Debra Huse

Stop futzing! Learn how to mix a bigger pile of paint and get it onto your brush and off onto the canvas without overworking it. People want to see your brushstrokes. We will also be working with a palette knife. This class is often held outdoors to better enjoy the beautiful spring weather in Southern California. Debra Huse is an award-winning Contemporary Impressionist. She uses rich color and bold, fluid strokes to capture the light and drama in her paintings. Debra is a Signature Member with the American Society of Marine Artists, the Pastel Society of America, the Laguna Plein Air Painters of America, and the American Impressionist Society. Her work was recently featured in the Irvine Museum’s “A Summer Idyll” exhibition and Plein Air Magazine.
