Based on Robert C. O’Brien’s classic novel “Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH,” Don Bluth’s classic explores the extreme lengths to which a mother will go to save her ailing son. Mrs. Brisby, a field mouse living in a cinderblock, has just lost her husband Jonathan to a brutal cat attack and needs to relocate her small family before plowing season begins. Her son Timothy, diagnosed with pneumonia, might be too sick to make it through a move, but with the help of a wise community of rats living on the same farm, Mrs. Brisby might just pull it off. What unfolds is a journey unlike any other in which the history of this ragtag community of animals re-emerges to reshape its future!
