The How The Why is a half-hour podcast documenting the creative process and the creative purpose hosted by Jon-Barrett Ingels. This free weekly series is an educational resource provided to discuss the evolution of literary arts with industry innovators.

Jonathan Lethem is the author of ten novels, including The Fortress of Solitude, Girl In Landscape, and A Gambler’s Anatomy. His fifth, Motherless Brooklyn, won The National Book Critic’s Circle Award. In 2005 he was named a Fellow of the Macarthur Foundation. His stories and essays have been collected in five volumes and his writing has been translated into over thirty languages. He’s the Roy E. Disney ’51 Chair in Creative Writing at Pomona College, and lives in Claremont and Maine.
