The Hortense Miller Garden

This unique "public" garden was bequeathed by Hortense Miller to the City of Laguna Beach. Located at the top of a gated community, its meandering pathways descending into the rocky canyon with views to the ocean below. The original mid-century residence and many smaller gardens are available for guided tours and offer volunteer opportunities and involvements. The garden is open to the public by reservation. Parking and access are limited. The garden lends itself to itself horticultural, photographic and architectural interests including opportunities for small groups, individual study, meditation, meetings and receptions.
