The Balboa Inn is located on the Balboa Penninsula in Newport Beach, Ca.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE 405 FREEWAY VIA BALBOA ISLAND - FROM THE SOUTH
Exit from the 405 Freeway at Jamboree Road and go south (toward the ocean). Just after you cross Pacific Coast Highway, you will cross over a bridge and enter Balboa Island. Head to Park Ave. and turn right. Go to Agate and turn left. Go to the end and you'll be at the entrance to the Balboa Ferry. Sometimes the wait can be lengthy, so, although very scenic, romantic and fun, leave 15-45 minutes extra just in case. The ferry is tiny, only 3 cars at a time. Once on the other side of the bay continue straight on Palm St. across E. Balboa Blvd. From here follow the parking instructions above.
FROM THE 55 FREEWAY - FROM THE NORTH
Heading south on the 55 Freeway, continue on to the end of the 55 Fwy. Once on Newport Blvd continue toward the Balboa Penninsula. Eventually you'll merge onto Balboa Blvd. Continue on E. Balboa Blvd. to Palm St. You'll see a sign for the Balboa Pier at Palm St. Turn right here and follow the parking instructions above.
FROM THE 73 FREEWAY - NORTH OR SOUTH
Merge onto the 55 Freeway south and follow the directions above.
Once you've crossed over to the ocean side of E. Balboa Blvd on Palm St. you'll see two parking areas on your left. Follow Palm St. around to the left and ready yourself to choose your spot. On the water side is long-term parking. Enter from the gate at the end of Palm St. The fee for long-term parking is $8.00, which buys you 24 hours. The short-term parking is on the left. These stalls all have meters. The good news is after 6pm the meters are off so parking is free. Once you've parked head to the boardwalk and turn right. Walk to Main St. turn left and the main entrance to the Balboa Inn is immediately on your left.
