Angie Stalker is a process-based artist and designer with a multifaceted practice rooted in play, curiosity, and experimentation. With saturated colors, prismatic pallets, and animated gestural forms, her visual constructions use the voice of materials to build a visual language. Her abstract forms, gestures, and patterns build a vocabulary that echoes the process. The making is tied to the meaning. The work navigates themes of memory and perception, identity and costume, and the familiar and everyday.

Angie was born in Colorado and raised in California and Wyoming. She holds a BFA from the University of South Dakota with an emphasis in Painting and an MFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco with an emphasis in Design. She has a background in product and textile design, education, and art.

She works from her home studio in Fullerton, California.
