The Brea Gallery seeks an Art Gallery/Community Services Coordinator.  Brea Gallery is a renowned contemporary art space that features a full calendar of exhibitions and programming each
year. Our team strives to provide an accessible artistic and cultural destination for the community and beyond, while putting on ambitious exhibitions. As an integral member of this team you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in the planning, installation, and promotion of exhibitions and workshops, and assist with all other aspects of running a contemporary art gallery.

As part of a close-knit team, the candidate will help to plan, promote, oversee, and evaluate events and exhibitions.  While all members of the staff have a wide variety of responsibilities that change throughout the year, the Coordinator position will focus on marketing and outreach efforts, including social media, graphic design, mailers and newsletters, and community engagement. Other primary functions of the position include but are not limited to: front desk reception duties, light cash handling and inventory management in the gift shop, event planning and setup, working with children, and perform related duties as assigned.  This position is an integral part of a small team, and therefore must be able thrive in a team setting, be self-motivated and flexible.
