Laguna Beach: With seven miles of City beaches and towering hills with captivating Pacific views, Laguna Beach residents enjoy some of the most stunning landscape in Southern California. Laguna Beach hosts millions of visitors to its world famous arts festivals and beautiful beaches. Services provided to its resident population of approximately 24,000 include police, fire, marine safety, recreation, parks, public works, community development, parking, transit and animal control.

The Position: Public Art is administered within the Cultural Arts Department at the City of Laguna Beach.  This position plans, organizes and implements public arts programs, projects, operations and policy. This position supports the Cultural Arts Manager with the management of the City's  public art installations, art-in-public places projects, temporary art installations, public art maintenance and applications for public art on private property; acting as liaison with community groups, organizations, other governmental agencies, city departments, and businesses to coordinate public art; supporting the Arts Commission sub-committee; and coordinating City art programs with other local activities.

The Arts Program Coordinator is responsible for program planning, budgeting, and overseeing related public art programs.
