Claremont - Power Box Enhancement Project

The City of Claremont invites artists, and artist teams to submit proposals for its Power Box Enhancement Project, which is intended to provide new artwork for public display within the City of Claremont utilizing selected city-owned electrical boxes located throughout the town as canvases.

The artists(s) will transform a utilitarian structure into an art form thus increasing public awareness of art, broadening viewers' perspectives of public spaces within the City, and fostering creativity, inspiration, and civic pride throughout the community.

Deadline:  January 15, 2021  |  Budget:  $750 honorarium

Eligibility:  Open call, professional and emerging artists from Claremont and neighboring communities are encouraged to apply.

Submission Guidelines:

• Completed Application Form
• Agreement Waiver
• A short bio or resume (max 3 pages)
• Image Identification Sheet of past artwork
