Communications and Development Assistant

The Wooden Floor in Santa Ana seeks a Communications and Development Assistant (CDA) to join our PR & Marketing Team as well as
Development Department.

The CDA reports to Director of Communication & Marketing (DCM) and will work closely with Director of Development (DOD), Development Operations Coordinator (DOC), Development Manager, Communications & Visual Design Associate (CVD), and contract Grants Consultant.

Heavily involved in the maintenance of external social media websites, recording and editing videos, digital marketing, copy editing, management of media lists, assist with event setup, writing press releases, pitching and following up with media, writing promotional articles, letters, and other documents.

Will implement strategies for integrating direct mail and digital fundraising appeals, welcome series for prospective donors, and design new online donor acquisition strategies.
