Development Director

A nonprofit focused on improving the education outcomes and lives of foster youth in the greater Los Angeles area seeks a Development Director.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the leadership team on the design and execution of an overall fundraising strategy
• Manage a portfolio of donors, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
• Develop a donor base that includes individuals, corporations and foundations
• Manage and grow a development team over time
• Establish a major gifts program

Qualifications:

• Approximately 3+ years fundraising
• Trace record of securing five and six figure gifts preferred
• Ability to thrive as part of a small, entrepreneurial team
