Director of Education Programs

Segerstrom Center for the Arts seeks a full-time Director of Education Programs.

This position provides daily oversight of the operational, fiscal, technical, marketing, producing, and programming aspects of all projects related to the education department.

• Reports to the Vice President of Education
• Oversight of programs and events related to the Center’s Education Department
• Assist with implementation, evaluation, reporting, and quality control of programs, activities, and events
• Direct supervision of Education staff as assigned
• Manage department budget through the guidance of the Vice President
• Oversee fiscal operations, accountability, and tracking of programs and events
• Represent the Center regionally and nationally at various events and conferences
• Oversee the Center’s Family Series, On Stage at the Center Series, and Sensory-Friendly Series
• Develop Education program marketing strategies/collateral with the Center’s Marketing department
• Engage donor and volunteer groups on behalf of the Education department when assigned
