This senior member of the Development Department team is responsible for developing strategies and implementing tactics necessary to successfully present approximately 150 events per year, including such elevated fund-raising events as Opening Night, Lunar New Year and an Annual Gala. Other ongoing events include pre- and post-concert dinners and receptions for various constituencies and events in donors’ homes. Candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience in special events management and/or production with a non-profit organization as well as a demonstrated track record of successful event presentations. Equally important to those skillsets is the ability to take joy in working closely with volunteer leaders in the creation of these events. The compensation package includes a competitive salaray plus excellent benefits.
