Director of Visual and Performing Arts

Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) seeks a Director of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA).  Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent/Education Services, plans, implements, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates arts education instruction throughout the district; understands and supports implementation of CA Arts Standards and Frameworks for all grade levels. oversees professional learning, and assists in development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and instruction in the arts (VAPA) PK­12 and Adult School.
