Educators - Museum

The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) seeks imaginative and inspirational Educators to facilitate tours and creative experiences.  This is an exciting point in the museum’s evolution, as OCMA is in the midst of a historic transition to its new 53,000 square foot home at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, currently under construction, and opening in October 2022.

Educators will facilitate tours, workshops, and activities focused on OCMA’s exhibitions that support learning through reflection, participation, and exchange. Educators will focus primarily on youth audiences through school field trips and family programs. The position also includes leading tours and facilitating creative experiences for adult visitors. Educators are part of the Learning and Engagement department which creates a comfortable and inclusive environment for all learners. The position contributes to the seamless operation of tours and events.

This is an hourly, part-time position requiring availability for weekday, weekend, evening, and occasional holiday shifts.
