Engagement Guide

The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) seeks friendly and team-oriented Engagement Guides to create outstanding visitor experiences.  This is an exciting point in the museum’s evolution, as OCMA is in the midst of a historic transition to its new 53,000 square foot home at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, currently under construction, and opening in October 2022.

This position is the first point of contact for visitors and provides information about the museum and exhibitions. Engagement Guides are part of the Learning and Engagement department and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and comfortable environment for all visitors. The position contributes to the successful daily operations of the visitor experience team. The staff also assists the security personnel in protecting the museum, staff, and visitors against fire, theft, and accidents. This is an hourly position requiring availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
