Fiction Writers

Free Creative Writing Workshop and Publishing Opportunity for all Orange County fiction writers.

The Santa Ana Literary Association will be publishing an anthology of animal-themed fictional short stories in the winter of 2022.

All accepted pieces will be workshopped during the months of March, April, and possibly May 2022.  Workshops will be led by J. Martin Strangeweather (MFA degrees in English and Creative Writing from UC Irvine).

Each contributor will be paid $100 upon publication of the anthology, plus a free copy.  All proceeds from the sale of this anthology will go to help support the Santa Ana Public Library.
