South Coast Repertory seeks a full-time Front-of-House Manager with exemplary customer service skills to oversee operations for a full programming season plus readings, conservatory shows and special events in a three-venue complex.
This position is responsible for the comfort and safety of patrons, purchasing and maintaining the inventory for concessions and theatre shop, managing lobby bar, and preparing Front-of-House reports. Manager will schedule, train, and supervise Front-of-House staff including part-time house managers, bartenders and volunteer ushers. Successful candidates must be able to manage a diverse work force, juggle multiple requests and tasks in a hectic environment and handle emergency situations with grace under pressure. Preferred qualifications include professional experience in the performing arts, live events or related field; familiarity with Tessitura ticketing database and Volgistics volunteer management database helpful; and knowledge of ADA regulations.
The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. Competitive salary including benefits.
