California Arts Council announces the 2021 grant season. Applications are now being accepted for two of its six grants. State arts grants will support organizational operations, individuals, and project-based activities; prioritizing relief and recovery for organizations and individuals impacted by COVID-19.
JUMP StArts supports arts and culture education, apprenticeship and or mentorship via artists-in-residence programs for at-promise youth and young people up to age 24 impacted by the justice system. Activities take place during or outside school hours in correctional facilities, public settings, online; in arts/culture venues, community centers, school sites, youth centers, intergenerational settings.
JUMP StArts - up to $50,000 for high-quality arts education and artists-in-residence programs for priority youth and young people impacted by the justice system.
