Students ages 3-18 are invited to participate in, Art in the Stars, a digital art showcase of space-themed artwork. Boeing and Space Foundation are teaming up to send student artwork into space aboard the next Boeing CST-100 Starliner mission.
Theme: Breaking Boundaries in Space
Create and submit original artwork. Submissions should answer the question, “Which historical space pioneer inspires you?” Consider the diverse historical figures who broke boundaries to become a “first” or blazed trails for those who came after them.
Every student artist who submits eligible artwork will receive an official “Certificate of Flight,” signed by Chris Ferguson (former NASA astronaut) and, it’s free to enter.
Deadline: December 16, 2022
Acceptable formats for submission include drawings, paintings, mixed media, and digital media pieces.
All entries must be submitted electronically through ArtShowcase.SpaceFoundation.org.
Note: Only teachers, parents, or legal guardians over the age of 18 may register to submit artwork on behalf of the artists.
