Teaching Artists

Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) seeks teaching artists to work with children and youth using VAPA standards.

In partnership with the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD), OCCTAC provides teaching artists to instruct in the Visual Arts at elementary and intermediate schools as part of their Extended Learning Program.

Requirements:

• The mission and vision to empower youth through the visual arts
• Strong understanding of the VAPA standards
• An artist practice
• Self-motivated and able to build professional relationships
• BA in arts or equivalent experience required
• Spanish bilingual is a big plus
