Jaque Nunez Workshops

Program Description

Basket Weaving (for grades K-8): Students create baskets using age-old techniques.

Clapper Sticks (for grades K-8): Learn to play the clapper stick instruments, sing Native American songs and use the pump drill.

Stick and Acorn (for grades K-8): Learn to make cordage, use a pump drill and play stick and acorn games.

Staging: A secured and clean workshop area sufficient to accommodate the students and the artist. The space should have running water. Please alert the custodian that artist will need help filling the basket weaving buckets.
