18th Annual Poetry Out Loud State Finals

Join the California Arts Council for the 18th Annual Poetry Out Loud State Finals, virtually, as third and final round students recite their poems live via Zoom.

Two rounds of pre-recorded poem recitation videos were submitted by students, which were assessed and scored by our judges. Score tallies have determined the 2023 California Poetry Out Loud state finalists.  Watch as the third and final round finalists share their work live via Zoom.
