45th Annual VSA Festival - Celebrating the Artistic Accomplishments of People with Disabilities!

Virtual event with free offerings celebrating the artistic accomplishments of individuals with disabilities!

Announcing the 45th Annual VSA Festival, celebrating the artistic accomplishments of individuals with disabilities! The virtual event will start Saturday, April 24th with the release of the Festival website offering a visual arts gallery, video performance gallery, pre-recorded workshops, Festival shop and interactive scavenger hunt.

Students of all abilities may register for live workshops which will run April 24 and 25.

OPENING CEREMONIES
Saturday, April 24, 2021 - 10:00 a.m.
Join us as we premiere the opening ceremonies with
performances by the ROLLETTES and Braille Institute's
Johnny Mercer Youth Choir. Plus, a special message from
beloved Master of Ceremonies, actor William Allen Young accompanied by ASL Interpreter, Paula Dunn.

VISUAL ART
Saturday, April 24 - 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Visual Arts workshop for ages 5 and up hosted by VSA
Orange County. Make a “Be Kind Bee” that reflects you
and how you show kindness to others!

DANCE
Saturday, April 24 - 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Dance workshop for all ages and abilities hosted by
Straight Up Abilities. Learn some dance moves and
join a dance party for all abilities with music to get you
moving.

MUSIC AND DANCE
Sunday, April 25 - 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
If you like to dance, sing, or express yourself
creatively, then join in this interactive dance and vocal
workshop led by teaching artists from Studio D.!

VISUAL ART
Sunday, April 25 - 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Have fun creating with pebbles and line doodles using
tiny rocks found outside in your own backyard! Led by
VSA Orange County volunteers.
