McPherson gained fame with Charles Mingus in the 1960s, but it has been his continuing work with multiple jazz luminaries that places him among the top sax players in jazz. Celebrate the life and music of this sax legend who will be joined by Brian Lynch, trumpet; Johnathan Blake, drums; Jeb Patton, piano; Ray Drummond, bass; and Dmitry Baevsky, alto sax.
