Conservatory Dance Intensives - Summer Academies in the Arts - UC Irvine

Students will elevate their technique and artistic expression focused on ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop, as well as various other in-studio and classroom-based topics in dance. Modeled on our college-level dance program, students experience life as an undergraduate dance major.

The only Orange County university to offer a program of this kind, the Summer Academies in the Arts offers intensive courses focused on enhancing 21st century skills, supporting college and career goals, and building self-confidence and leadership.

Students get to experience life as an undergraduate arts major, in which they receive practical and technical instruction in small classes taught by UC Irvine graduate instructors, professionals in the field and esteemed faculty. With rigorous college-level coursework, the option to receive university credit, social and professional networking, this immersive summer experience is the perfect place for learning and development in a fun, challenging environment!
