In a cigar factory outside of Tampa in the 1920s, a group of Cuban immigrant factory workers listen to a lector read them the classic "Anna Karenina" as they endlessly roll cigars. The combination of Tolstoy, the tropics and the American Dream prove a volatile mix that ignites the passions of a community and change lives forever. This powerful and poetic play won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
*The play contains mature subject matter of a sexual nature and is intended for adult audiences.
