Art As Activism

Celebrate Human Rights Day 2022, Arts As Activism, at Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center in downtown Laguna.  As a satellite event of the afternoon Human Rights Day celebration co-sponsored by the UNA-OC and Soka University’s Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Human Rights, we will be featuring internationally renowned artist/activist Sheinina Lolita Raj, currently exhibiting INTERCULTURAL at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, along with a brief overview of the history of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and a presentation on arts used as activism by a local human rights scholar.
