The Alta California Chapbook Prize selects two chapbooks for publication in bilingual editions. The winning poets will each receive $250.00, 10 copies of the published chapbook, and an invitation to read at the Mission Poetry Series in Santa Barbara. We especially encourage poets living on the Central Coast in Santa Barbara, Ventura, or San Luis Obispo counties. Special attention will be given to poets who have not yet published a full-length collection.
