Beginners & Collectors Only - Painting Workshop with Debra Huse

No experience necessary! Have you always wanted to try painting? Get personal, hands-on insights into all that a painter must consider to create. Start from the beginning, as Debra teaches you step by step about setting-up the easel, design and composition, the color wheel, the palette, how to hold the brush to apply paint, and mixing with the palette knife. We will paint along together one step at a time and make the fundamentals FUN. This is a wonderful class for beginning painters, collectors, or anyone who loves art. The workshop will take place indoors in a very comfortable setting. Each participant will go home with a small framed completed painting or three! Debra Huse is an award-winning Contemporary Impressionist. She uses rich color and bold, fluid strokes to capture the light and drama in her paintings. Debra is a Signature Member with the American Society of Marine Artists, the Pastel Society of America, the Laguna Plein Air Painters of America, and the American Impressionist Society. Her work was recently featured in the Irvine Museum’s “A Summer Idyll” exhibition and Plein Air Magazine.
