Stephanie Bettman is at the least a triple threat. An accomplished writer, singer, and fiddler, her lyrics are infused with wit and wisdom, poetry and insight. Luke Halpin is a renowned multi-instrumentalist. A master of the guitar and the mandolin, impressive on fiddle, banjo, and adept at nearly anything he picks up. As a duo, Bettman & Halpin are fast earning a reputation for hypnotizing performances filled with irresistible lyrics, transcendent harmonies and roof-raising instrumentals. Aireene Espiritu is a singer/songwriter playing mostly original songs accompanied by Latin/African rhythms, folk, bluegrass pickings and inspirations from gospel music – a mix of stompin', swayin', and timeless Americana. Born in the Philippines now based in Oakland, she was influenced by Alan Lomax and growing up listening to her uncles' Filipino folk guitar fingerpicking.
