Black History Month Community Gallery

HMOC is excited to have the ability to have assembled a Black History Month Community Gallery exhibition honoring the Black community in Orange County by sharing snapshots of resilience and brilliance.

The gallery exhibition can be viewed in the downstairs Carriage Barn during HMOC Public Hours now through February 18th and features a small portion of the thousands of artifacts and photographs from Harriet Tyler’s collection. Harriet, the official Black historian of Orange County was a prominent community leader and her collection spanning over 60 years of memories tells the story of the Black community in Santa Ana and beyond.
