Bowers After Hours: Distilled California

Bowers Museum invites you to an After Hours lecture and tasting, Distilled California:  An Imbibed History (Part II).

Join Gentleman Historian Dylan Almendral and Distiller Extraordinaire, Ryan Freisen for part two in their “Distilled California Series” as they dive into the world of bootleggers, rum runners and even pharmacists in Orange County’s history. This talk will begin where the last one left off, around 1900. Stories, myths and legends galore abound in the seedy underworld of Orange County and its legal relationship with booze. The night will also feature a signature gin cocktail, the “Stateside Negroni,” from Santa Ana’s Blinking Owl Distillery.
