Join us at the Bowers Museum for an onsite Chinese Brush Painting Workshop: Winter Plum Blossoms with Lorean Weng.
Plum blossoms symbolize life and good fortune. Plum flowers bloom in late winter despite the cold frost and represent new growth after a long winter. Symbolizing endurance, perseverance and reliability in adverse times makes the plum blossom the perfect composition for December. Come learn the joys of Chinese and Sumi-e painting techniques with artist Lorean Weng.
