Bowers Tour: Treasures in Gold and Jade

Experience an exclusive pre-recorded tour of the Bowers Museum’s newest installation Treasures in Gold and Jade, featuring works of incredible beauty and complexity by two of Taiwan’s premier artists: Huang Fu Shou and Wu Ching.

Huang Fu Shou’s jade carvings show a surprising range of color, each sculpture pushing the boundary of what is possible within the rigid medium of jade. Wu Ching captures the majesty of gold, breathing form into questions on the nature of being and striking a perfect balance between spiritual and material elements.
