Capistrano Lights returns to Mission San Juan Capistrano

Feel the magic of the season with Capistrano Lights from nightly through January 6, 2020 at Mission San Juan Capistrano!  Celebrate the holidays at Orange County’s only Mission with festive programming and a nightly tree lighting. Create lasting memories with family photos under our 10′ wreath, selfies with Santa on select weekends in December, photo opportunity with our 30′ Christmas tree and make your prayer for peace and goodwill by placing a candle in the Ruins of the Great Stone Church. Visit the Serra Chapel open after hours, California’s most historic chapel.  Become a Mission Member to receive FREE tickets and craft discounts!

December weekends, families will have the opportunity to meet and take “Selfies with Santa” in the historic Sala building and Holiday Crafts with AR Workshop in the Soldiers Barracks (offered 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on December 14, 15, 21 and 22).   Join us Winter Break for Crafts and Activities for Kids offered daily starting Saturday, December 21, 2019 to Sunday, January 5, 2020 (nominal fee in addition to paid admission – Mission Members receive a discount).  Weekday crafts and activities offered 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Crafts and activities include Adobe Brick Making, Arrowhead Necklace and an Alternate Craft.
