This immersive one-hour concert film is introduced by Elizabeth Blumenstock, Artistic Director of the Baroque Music Festival, CdM & celebrates the glorious harpsichord and organ music of J.S. Bach in wonderful Baroque settings.
Specially pre-recorded at the sumptuous Rienzi wing of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and St Philip's Presbyterian Church Houston in a co-production with Ars Lyrica, Houston (director Matthew Dirst). The music by J.S. Bach (including Dirst's own cantata transcriptions) and key contemporaries is interspersed by fascinating details about the visually stunning instruments and the venues.
