Cécile McLorin Salvant & Aaron Diehl

Cécile McLorin Salvant is easily one of the most highly anticipated jazz vocalists to emerge in years. Born in the U.S. to French and Haitian parents, the recently turned 24-year-old became the youngest winner of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition in 2010. Since then, she has received critical acclaim from such media outlets as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and NPR’s All Things Considered and Fresh Air, comparing her to the likes of Billie Holliday, Bessie Smith and Sarah Vaughn, among others. She will be joined by renowned pianist Aaron Diehl.
