Details: This wacky and unofficial holiday is just plain fun! After all the holiday shopping, present opening, and the New Year celebrations, it’s time to take it easy — in “Sleep Land”. The Festival of Sleep Day was created for people that would like to get some “shut eye” and relaxation after the holidays. Sleep is also very important for you and your child’s health and well-being. So join us for some healthy sleepy time activities. Best of all, there’s no need to dress-up because on this special day guests are invited to wear their favorite PJ’s and slippers. Smart Art: Quiet Time Art-ivities – Visit our Art Studio for a variety of quiet time activities that you can explore and make in our art studio! These activities are a great way for children to wind down before bed or to take a break from the everyday bustle. 

Sensational Story Time: Goodnight Animal World – A Kid Yoga Bedtime Story – Every child enjoys a bed time story at the end of the night. Why not make it better by introducing yoga into your night time routine. The stretching and deep breathing involved in this exercise will help children wind down at the end of the day. The Pretend City Pretendgineers will guide you to help you get started! 

Good to Go Game: Time for Bed – This fun sequencing activity will help children put before bed tasks in order. Each child will have the opportunity to make their very own bed time routine board following the group game.
