Code Name: Butterflies

OC Public Libraries, Bowers Museum and the OC Film Fiesta would like to cordially invite you to help us kickoff the NEA Big Read grant with a screening of the documentary, “Code Name: Butterflies” on Thursday, October 20th at 6:00 pm at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. “Code Name: Butterflies” is the incredible story of the Mirabal sisters of the Dominican Republic who, in the 1950’s, opposed the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo and created a movement to resist his power.
