Day of Remembrance - Japanese Internment

Join Fullerton Museum Center on an historically significant date in American history, Remembrance Day – February 19th.  On this day in 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, which gave the U.S. Army the authority to remove civilian Japanese Americans from the military zones established in Washington, Oregon, and California during WWII.

We will be hosting a discussion with local scholars and historians as well as hold special programming to remember this date in American history and educate the community.
