Dinner with Friends
The Costa Mesa Playhouse presents the first production of its 53rd season, Donald Margulies’ “Dinner with Friends,” winner of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, running July 21 through August 13, 2017.
This engrossing, satirical play about marriage, betrayal and food, which the author calls “a rueful comedy,” follows two inseparable couples at different ages and stages of their lives. They share vacations and countless dinners together, but when one marriage unexpectedly crumbles, their lives veer into opposite directions. Can these four friends move on to the next chapter without moving apart, or have they changed beyond recognition?

The July 21 performance is a preview for which all seats are $18. July 22 is the opening night Gala, including a post-show reception. Gala tickets are $22 general and $20 for students and seniors.
For all other performances, tickets are $20 general and $18 for students and seniors. Groups of 10 or more are $13 each.
