Field of Honor at Mission San Juan Capistrano

Mission San Juan Capistrano will host the 2021 Field of Honor® in partnership with Homefront America for Memorial Day.

Field of Honor® will be on display during Mission San Juan Capistrano’s normal operating hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. from Wednesday, May 26 through Monday, May 31.

Regular admission pricing will be in effect. Normally not open on Mondays, Mission San Juan Capistrano will be open on Memorial Day, May 31.

The display will consist of up to 400 seven-foot community-sponsored American flags strategically placed on the grounds of Mission San Juan Capistrano in honor of military heroes, veterans and first responders.

All military members, first responders and flag sponsors will receive complimentary admission to the Mission throughout the exhibit.

The community is invited to sponsor individual flags to honor a specific military member, veteran, and/or first responder. Past honorees have included famous K-9 and equestrian heroes for their selfless sacrifices.

Sponsorships begin at $50/flag with all proceeds benefiting Homefront America’s charitable programs for military families.

A $50 sponsor level also includes an individual membership to Mission San Juan Capistrano’s Preservation Society and sponsorship benefits increase with various levels up to $1000.
