Free Family Workshop: Andy Warhol Soup Can Art

Muckenthaler Cultural Center (Muck) invites the community to a Free Family Workshop:  Andy Warhol Soup Can Art with artist in residence, Jac Alva.

Andy Warhol was known for his love of Campbell’s Soup. In fact, he ate Campbell’s soup everyday for years and integrated the brand into his artwork. In an ode to food, students will explore themes such as food art and recycled art. In this fun family art lesson, students will repurpose vessels from everyday consumer items and make their own soup cans.

Advance registration is required and space is limited.  Email michelle@themuck.org to reserve your spot.  Bring a container and we’ll provide the art supplies.
