French Park Historic Architecture Walking Tour

The residential neighborhood of French Park in Santa Ana, California is a community of single and multi-family residences designated as a local historic district in 1984 and a national historic district in 1999. Tour-goers will appreciate French Park’s unique street pattern and architecture dating to the late 19th century. Residential styles such as Queen Anne, Colonial and Period Revival, Craftsman and Modernist are all in evidence here in large and small houses and apartment buildings. Also in evidence is the history of the first generation of city dwellers that shaped the new city of Santa Ana and the new county of Orange.
