Fullerton: Japanese Americans Exhibition

WWII survival of incarcerated Japanese Americans

Fullerton Arboretum presents an important historical exhibition, The Art of Survival:  Enduring the Turmoil of Tule Lake now through November 7, 2021.

During WWII Tule Lake was the official segregation center in California incarcerating 120,000 Americans of Japanese descent.

Many knew this was illegal and were willing to stand up to the injustice.

Accused of being disloyal, in their dissent, they were ironically acting in the most American way.
