He is a National Poetry Slam Champion, two-time Individual World Poetry Slam Finalist, and participated in the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Opening act, Krista Marina, is an alternative pop singer/songwriter whose music displays jazz, blues, and folk influences.
