Gourmet Guys Raise Bread for Kids

This delightful, taste-filled event brings together over 350 hungry members of the public and approximately 100 amateur chefs, a.k.a. “Gourmet Guys”, community leaders from local businesses, the City of La Habra and civic organizations, who compete for top recognition of their signature gourmet dishes.

“Gourmet Guys” compete in 14 categories, from appetizers to desserts, and are judged by area professional chefs. It’s like “an Olympics of Cooking” with gold, silver and bronze medals being awarded to category winners.  Past winners have included a savory Moussaka, scrumptious Chocolate Covered Bacon, and spicy Chorizo Paella.

All proceeds from the event benefit The Children’s Museum at La Habra, one of the most unique, educational and cultural resources for young children in Southern California.
